Breakfast

Island Kitchen – Some of the best breakfast on the island!

Blacked-Eye Susan’s – Great little breakfast spot right in downtown. It is a very popular spot, so we recommend arriving early to beat the rush.

Lemon Press - A refreshing & healthy downtown café with fresh juices and smoothies. You can either grab a quick smoothie to go or sit down for breakfast.

Brant Point Grill - Located at The White Elephant hotel, Brant Point Grill overlooks the Nantucket Harbor and is known for their signature lobster bloody mary!

Born and Bread – Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries for a grab and go breakfast option.

The Corner Table – A great coffee house to start your morning before taking a walk through town.

Nantucket Meat & Fish – Mid-island gourmet market with coffees and bagels.

Claudettes - A cute sandwich shop in Sconset that offers both breakfast and lunch options!

Lunch

Something Natural – Known for huge sized sandwiches served on wicked fresh bread! A short walk from town so we like to eat at the picnic seating there. Highly recommend ordering a half as the sammies are BIG.

Provisions – Great place to pick up breakfast or lunch sandwiches before the ferry. Get the turkey terrific or BLT!

Fresh – Small sandwich shop located inside a liquor store. Grab a sandwich and drinks before heading to the beach!

Bartlett’s Farm – Farm fresh-made market sandwiches, soups & salads. A bike ride from town, right past Cisco Brewery!

167 Raw – Great food truck for a quick grab-and-go lunch. Just a short bike ride from town and walking distance to Cisco Brewers!

Straight Wharf Fish – Casual, fresh fish, right on the harbor in town.

Sandbar at Jetties Beach - Causal beachfront outdoor restaurant (picnic tables) & bar with beach bites, burgers & sandwiches!

Millie’s Nantucket – One of our island favorites! Casual coastal fare restaurant located in Madaket. The 40th pole quesadilla is a must & our go-to cocktail the Madaket Mystery!

Cru – Located right on the harbor with amazing views of the water. Great coastal cuisine.

Dinner

Reservations highly recommended for all evening dining … check websites for when reservations become available, some are one month, two weeks or one week out. 

Brotherhood of Thieves – One of our favorite casual spots right in town. Fun, outdoor patio “Cisco Surf Bar” with American fare & sushi!

Proprietors – A relaxed restaurant & bar serving tapas style locally sourced, globally influenced fare in a contemporary space.

Town / Queequegs – Outdoor bar & patio seating, fun cocktails, sushi & eclectic bites!

The Pearl - An upscale dining experience with incredible dishes. Must try the wok fried lobster!

American Seasons - Cozy dining room and a darling covered outside patio; New American seasonal menu.

Lola 41 - A diverse menu featuring everything from sushi to their famous Lola Burger. Don’t skip the baby back ribs and spicy fries!

Bar Yoshi and The O Bar - Charming spot on Old South Wharf serving innovative Japanese fare, including sushi, raw bar, noodles and dumplings. 

B-ACKyard BBQ - Housemade BBQ, casual sports-bar vibe in town.

The Galley – Beautiful setting on Galley Beach serving American cuisine. One of the best places on island to watch the sunset.

Nautilus - Delicious Asian-inspired small plates & amazing cocktails. We love the blue crab fried rice and crispy calamari!

Ventuno - A cozy and relaxed restaurant - local food meets authentic Italian.


Drinks
Gazebo - Order the island-famous mudslide and take in the view of the crowds filtering on and off the ferry.

Sister Ship – Relaxed cocktail lounge with a great outdoor patio for a pre-dinner drink.

Gaslight - Fun late night music scene right in town.

Chicken Box – Nantucket’s famous dive!

Ice Cream
Juice Bar - One of a kind ice cream served in homemade waffle cones.

Jack & Charlies - Cute shop serving homemade ice cream.

Rent a bike to explore the island’s bike path & beaches! We recommend Cooks Bike Shop , Nantucket Bike Shop or Young’s Bicycle Shop bike & Jeep rentals) located in town |

Getting Around ACK     

All wedding events are in Town & most restaurants are in Town, which is walkable. If you'd like to do some exploring, Ubers, cabs, rental Jeeps are available as well as the local bus (NRTA) that has many routes throughout the island.

While the island does have Uber and Lyft, the local taxis seem to be more reliable.
